As part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary the Music Service held a composers competition to find the best arrangement based on the tune of Happy Birthday. We were looking for pupils with arranging and composing skills to write a version of the tune.

The entry by Ben Latham, a member of Doncaster Schools Symphonic Band and pupil at McAuley Catholic High School, was judged to be the winner. Ben has won a voucher for £50. His version will appear here on the website shortly.
