If the instrument is intended for use in a Music Service instrumental lesson, we would recommend that advice is sought from the instrumental teacher before any purchase is made. Please also note that in some cases, and assuming eligibility, a new instrument purchased VAT free through the Instrumental Purchase Scheme may be just as economical.
