Every week the 47 teaching staff of Doncaster Music Service deliver:
- over 700 hours of vocal and instrumental tuition in 113 of the borough's primary, secondary and special schools
- 10 free Live Music sessions in schools, supporting the Government's pledge to put "Music at the heart of every school" and to promote less well known instruments
- 33 large and small Centre based ensembles, free to pupils within Doncaster LEA schools
- Lifelong Learning lessons, workshops and ensembles (from pre-school age)
The Service also provides a full reporting service to all parents, INSET training to school staff, curriculum support and advice.
