These concerts feature both classical and electric guitar styles, using specially recorded backings to demonstrate the guitar over a broad span of its history. |
The String Quintet features violin, viola, cello, and double bass. A wide variety of music is covered with some interesting facts and stories about the instruments. |
The Woodwind Quartet concerts have developed a fine blend of information about the instruments (delivered in a fun and questioning manner) and varied repertoire. These feature flute and piccolo, oboe, clarinet and bassoon. |
Children are taken on a musical journey featuring folk music and instruments from many countries and continents including India, Spain, Italy, Greece, Africa and the Americas. Children have the opportunity to play some of the instruments, and have been known to dance out of the hall at the end! |
