Festival Tickets
Tickets will be required for the evening concerts at Priory Church and Hall Cross Upper and Lower Schools. They will be on sale at the Music Centre office from Tuesday 6 March, price £2.50 adults, £1.00 concessions. In order to allocate tickets fairly, in the first week of sale we are initially allowing just two tickets per family for each concert. From 12 March, if there are still tickets for sale, extra tickets may be purchased. Parents who have children involved in more than one concert may, after purchasing tickets for the first concert, obtain tickets for additional concerts at no extra charge. However, parents wishing to take advantage of this offer, must take their tickets for all concerts at the same time. Tickets will not be required for the daytime concerts at the Music Centre and Hall Cross Lower School.
Concert clothes Please would pupils wear white shirts/blouse and dark trousers/skirts.
Please note: On Saturday 31 March, there will be no normal rehearsals, no theory classes and no lessons at the Music Centre. However, keyboard lessons will take place as normal. On Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 April, there will be no guitar groups and no recorder groups.
16 AND 17 MARCH Mr Blunkett, the Minister for Education, is holding a conference at the Carr House Centre on Saturday 17 March. The Music Centre will be unable to use the Hall during that weekend. All other groups will rehearse upstairs at the Music Centre. SATURDAY 17 MARCH The Doncaster Schools Symphonic Band (Mr Gurnhill) will give a concert at Hall Cross Lower School at 7.15 pm.
